Oak Grove Midwifery of Green Bay provides family-centered care to healthy women during normal pregnancy, labor and birth and to mothers and newborns up to six weeks postpartum. We are founded on the wellness model of pregnancy and birth, the keys of which are:

Giving birth in a familiar environment with caregivers that you know and trust are factors in good birth outcomes. Oak Grove Midwifery of Green Bay offers pregnant women the options of giving birth at our birthing suite or in your own home (within a 75 mile radius of Green Bay, WI).
Our Birthing Suite is a modest, furnished apartment that becomes a familiar place through the months of prenatal care with your midwives. We are located less than ten minutes from three major hospitals, including a regional neonatal intensive care unit, should transport of mother or baby become necessary.
A full kitchen is available for meal preparation by the family, and the living room offers a comfortable, private environment for resting while you wait. You and your family members can settle in and stay for the duration of labor, knowing that your midwives are nearby and that the facility is equipped to handle complications that may arise during birth including emergency medications, medical oxygen and resuscitation equipment. |
